Continuing with our "Year of the Dot Quilt" theme, this lovely custom quilt was made to welcome an October baby.
Our client supplied the fabric for most of the dots and Becky added a few dots in coordinating colours from our organic cotton supplies.
The client's fabrics in blues, yellows and white, are sweet and have special meaning to the new parents as they were used to make napkins for their wedding.
I love it when fabric with a story is added to a quilt. It makes tangible the connections that bind us to our loved ones, and it seems to me that such a special quilt will keep those who snuggle under it especially warm and cozy!
