We have the great privilege to be working with some true indigo cottons from South Africa. These are not organic, but they are absolutely fabulous! Our client has chosen this stunning selection of indigos, along with an organic charcoal solid for a custom log cabin quilt for her husband—lucky man.
The fabrics, while gorgeous, were very stiff when they arrived, but after serging the edges (so they wouldn't fray or run) and washing, they are wonderfully supple now.
Becky has stitched a pair of sample blocks. Our client hasn't made her choice yet. What do you think?
