Sea Grass Quilt Update

Remember the green baby quilt we were working on in January? We finished it a while back and even gave it a name—Sea Grass. We wanted something evocative of the serene and soothing blues, greens.

Almost as soon as it was finished we had a custom order for a quilt with the same design, but with blue replacing green as the dominant colour. Becky chose browns and a punchy red to complement the blues for this one and we were thrilled with how it turned out.

While the Sea Grass quilt seems calm and soothing, this one is striking and playful. Boy, do we ever love playing with colours!

It's so much fun to see where other people's preferences lead us in our custom work. On to the next adventure!
