Pillowcases and Sheets for Toddlers

After getting a bunch of custom orders for toddler sized pillowcases and sheets, we've started adding them to our product line. We've got pillowcases ready to go and we're making the sheets to order.
We're using satiny-soft organic cotton, of course, and we just love how the sweet fabric prints complement each other on the wide borders. These will surely help bring sweet dreams to many a little girl and boy.

New Quilts in the Making

Despite a hectic beginning of the year, we're somehow finding time to dream up and work on new baby quilts. One, a gorgeous study in greens, blues, and white is ready for quilting. Watch out for those killer pins!

The other is a whimsical collection of large dots in red, brown, and blue. Not sure how we'll put them together yet, but stay tuned to find out!

Beautiful Babes

Late last year, we had the great pleasure of connecting with Fayetteville, Arkansas photographer Alicia Jerome. In her Northwest Photography Works studio, she specializes in photographing wee newborns, babies, and children. We think her work is stunning and were delighted when she offered to swap photos for Organic Quilt Company products. She uses our hats and blankets as wardrobe and props for her adorable subjects and we get to see the lovely results. Getting the pictures is like having little gifts delivered right to our inbox, and we're eagerly looking forward to seeing more.

By the way, there's still time to take advantage of our JANUARY HAT SALE. Since it's so chilly outside, we're offering one free hat when you purchase two.

New Year—New Adventures

Welcome to our shiny new blog! The new year is bringing exciting changes to Organic Quilt Company. As you can plainly see, OQC is finally sailing into the 21rst C by launching this blog—and a Facebook page too.
2010 was so busy, I’ve decided to bring in some extra help and welcomed my friend Lisa to the team. Having another mind and 2 more hands on board means I’ll be able to spend more time at the sewing machine, which makes me a very happy quilter.
The new year has us feeling energized, inspired, and excited about what’s to come. We’ll soon have a Canadian online store up and running along with the Etsy shop; we’re dreaming (and sewing) up beautiful new quilts; and looking forward to sharing the year’s adventures right here on the blog.
Cheers!
